Export rules to Bosnia and Herzegovina

Certificate of Origin
Certificates of origin must be issued in at least two copies (the certifying body requires an additional notarized file copy) issued by an authorized authority or agency duly authorized for this purpose by the issuing country. A certificate of origin is not required for imports for long-term production investments with foreign partners, for the purchase of capital goods for investment projects abroad and for the return of goods to BiH, or for imports without payment of equivalent value.
Commercial invoice There is no set format. Invoices must be issued in at least two copies. Additional copies may be requested. They must contain the usual specifications, including a full description of the goods, marks and numbers, gross and net weights, number of packages, country of origin, plus any other information required to comply with the contract.


Insurance certificate
Follow normal business practices and instructions/recommendations from the importer and/or insurance company.

 

 


Packing list It is not mandatory, but its use facilitates the clearance of goods.
Inspection before shipment
May be requested by the importer.

invoice
May be requested by the importer.

US Shipper Export Statement (SED)
Required if value is over $2,500 ($500 for shipping via the US Postal System). SED is required for all shipments requiring an export permit.
